Hufcor Quality Policy

For many years, Hufcor - and subsidiary company, Kyissa - have been setting the industry benchmark for operable partitions, glass walls and washroom cubicle systems. As the world's largest manufacturer of operable partitions, Hufcor leads the industry in creative partition designs and outstanding workmanship.

Our Policy is to provide our customers with prompt service and quality products, which meet all expectations. It is also company policy to develop and maintain a strong working partnership with all customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Our policy is to use suppliers wherever possible, who are certified to the ISO 9001 standard. It is the desire of management to work in partnership with each approved supplier to ensure all products and services meet agreed specifications and conditions of supply.

Implicit in this Policy Statement is our emphasis on continual improvement. Our commitment to continual improvement and customer focus will maintain our facility as the benchmark for our industry.

This Policy requires disciplined commitment, skill, expertise and co-operation of all members of the facility for its realization and maintenance.

Management in their commitment to this policy undertakes to provide the appropriate technologies, training, and other resources as required. The International Standard ISO 9001 provides the model for our Quality Management System. This System is certified by a JAS/ANZ accredited Certifying body; maintained by internal audit and management surveillance. Compliance to Statutory and Regulatory requirements is mandatory.

It is our policy to encourage safe work practices, employee contribution, quality planning & control, good house-keeping and equipment maintenance through all stages of design, production and delivery.

The above policies are expanded in our Quality Manual and related Procedures and this Quality Policy shall be reviewed annually.

The quality objectives of the central manufacturing site include:

• Utilize our Quality Management System as the basis for continual improvement
• Maintaining a disciplined focus to our customers' needs & expectations
• Meeting customer delivery deadlines
• Staff training, development and recognition.

Hufcor Environmental Policy

The company strives to be environmentally aware and actively supports programmes that minimise negative impacts on the environment.

We are committed to comply with relevant environmental legislation and requirements to prevent pollution.

We seek to understand the effects our activities have on the environment and to continually improve our environmental performance by supporting initiatives such as:

• Waste minimisation
• Reduction of resource consumption
• Recycling
• Procurement of environmentally preferable products
• Design for Environment

Hufcor seeks to ensure that its Environmental plans, objectives and performance are made available to all stakeholders and that environmental benefits can be independently verified.

We will ensure that this policy and all procedures relating to it are understood, implemented and maintained throughout the company.

Hufcor Occupational Health & Safety Policy

For many years the Hufcor group has been setting the industry benchmark for operable partitions, glass walls and washroom cubicle systems. As the world's largest manufacturer of operable partitions, Hufcor leads the industry in creative partition designs and outstanding workmanship.

The company is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, visitors and members of the public.

Hazards to health and safety will be removed or where this is not practicable, they will be managed so as to prevent injury, illnesses and dangerous events.

Hufcor considers safety and incident prevention to be vital to the ultimate success of the organisation's operations and is an integral part of management's responsibilities.

Management will meet these requirements by:

• Complying with both the spirit and letter of the law for all matters relating to Workplace Health and Safety.
• Providing a safe place to work.
• Providing safe working conditions and safe operating procedures for all Company activities.
• Minimising workplace hazards.
• Encouraging and respecting contributions by all employees towards the improvement of Workplace Health and Safety.
• Providing adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable every employee to perform their duties effectively and safely.
• Providing sufficient information to contractors and visitors on possible risks to health and safety.
• Making safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) available whenever required.

Each employee has the responsibility to:

• Follow all safe work practices, procedures, instructions and rules.
• Work in a manner which ensures the health and safety of themselves and others.
• Encourage other workers to work in a healthy and safe manner
• Participate in training
• Report or rectify any unsafe conditions that come to their attention

This policy is an integral part of our total management plan. Our goal is to have zero injuries to staff, contractors and members of the public within our workplace. This can only be achieved with the support and commitment of all employees of Hufcor Group.
